We have three hostels in the Portsmouth Area:
St. Paul’s House in Southsea, St. Monica’s House in Fratton and Somers Road Hostel in Somerstown.
St. Paul’s House
St. Paul’s House is a purpose built accommodation for single women; single parents with babies and also has three family rooms available. It is situated within walking distance of the Commercial Road and Palmerston Road.
The house is staffed 24 hours per day all year round.
All clients have access to the communal kitchens, lounge, dining room, laundry facilities and garden.
St. Monica’s House
St. Monica’s House is purpose built accommodation for single parents with babies and also has three family rooms available. It is situated close to the shops in Fratton Road and within walking distance of Commercial Road.
The house is staffed for most of the day and evening, sleep-in staff are on duty during the night in case of any problems.
All clients have access to the communal kitchens, lounge, dining room, laundry facilities and garden.
Somers Road
Somers Road is a six bed hostel which can accommodate both single women and mothers with babies, situated within walking distance of Palmerston Road, Commercial Road and Fratton.
With staff available during the day, the clients’ can start to live in partial independence but with the knowledge that they can get help and advice when needed.
